What is the difference between a private and a commercial flight?
The difference is in the name - a commercial flight is for commercial purposes and so luggage or goods on this plane especially in large quantities are deemed to be of Commercial value and as a result Customs Duties and applicable taxes are enforced. A private flight is deemed for travel purposes of the charterer only and as a result luggage or goods on this plane wont necessarily attract all of these Duties.
