Can a US Customs and Border Protection officer deny a person entry to?
Not sure up to what point, but they can surely try to find a reason. My wife and me went some years ago to the Canadian border near a town called Kettle Falls Washington. At that time it was required you to have a valid visa in order to enter Canada. We knew that, and we did not had a Canadian visa, we did had a US tourist visa (because we were Mexicans visiting the US) but in any case, so we went to the Canadian border and ask the officer there at the checkpoint if we could go cross in to Can...
