Im not sure, but I would imagine that they will probably have more in the way of paramedical and treatment capability. Its extremely doubtful that a fully staffed and equipped hospital will be built at the border, but theres probably something more that can be done to aid people who are critically ill. As it is, border guards are probably not sufficiently trained to offer medical help to someone who is dying. That isnt their job. Even so, children should not be allowed to die, if we can prevent it, just because their parents stupidly drag them along on a dangerous journey. You should also understand that people do die. Sometimes those people are kids. Depending on whats wrong with them, theres not always something that can be done to save them. Blaming the border patrol for the deaths of migrants or their children is putting spin on the issue.
